36 years old, work full time for the NHS as a Performance analyst and compete for GB in my age group in Aquathlons and Triathlons. I started running in 2012 and swimming where I couldn’t swim after being inspired by the 2012 London Olympic Games so had no real sporting background prior. I started off running then moved to Aquathlons and now taking on the challenge of Triathlons and seeing how far I can go. I am a CIRF running coach and Head coach of Canterbury Harriers, but I have competed for GB at Age group level and captained the GB team. If you train hard, smart, work towards your goals you can achieve your goals. working at it will pay off and keep believing in yourself.
2012 I was inspired by the London Olympic games to do something and get fit.
Weetibix has most races in the morning, pizza the night before.
3rd in the European Championships (Age Group) has to be my best accomplishment on my debut. I never expected it and I had to run very hard. I had to sprint the last 400m to go past two people. I found something that day I never had before. It was an amazing experience and I will never forget it. I would tell people to keep pushing until they finish. However 2019 becoming the European Aquathlon Champion (Age Group) was a big shocked and is up there too.
